"Over the past ten school years, Providence Hall Elementary has implemented the Love and Logic philosophy and methods in our school. Our staff and students have found the methods to provide many benefits. As we have continued to use and enhance the implementation of the methods with our teaching staff and parents, we have recently begun attending the Utah State University Extension Healthy Relationships Utah Parenting the Love and Logic Way community courses...We have been immensely impressed with the quality and knowledge these trainings have provided for our teachers. The Parenting the Love and Logic Way course has been a fantastic refresher course for our seasoned teachers and an important introductory course for our teachers who are newer to the methods. The presenters have been highly effective and have generously worked with our teachers as resources, a network of support, and a valuable community resource.

We have even scheduled evening parenting courses for our school community of parents to attend in the fall of 2018. We anticipate this being an incredibly useful opportunity for our school community. The Parenting the Love and Logic Way course has many attractive elements for schools. A few stand-out elements include: 1) The course has been convenient, comprehensive, and engaging; 2) The course is helpful for all levels of knowledge and background concerning Love and Logic; and 3) The course is relevant to parents and teachers with easy implementation into both home and classroom environments. Providence Hall Elementary’s staff and students have greatly benefited from the implementation of Love and Logic over the past ten years, and have especially benefitted from the continuing development and support received in attending the Utah State University Extension Healthy Relationships Utah program for Parenting the Love and Logic Way. I recommend this course and the instructors who have been teaching this course to any school or community group hoping to improve parenting skills in their organization. We hope to continue to utilize this amazing community resource in the years to come!"

"The Spanish Fork Library has hosted 3 of the USU extension programs at our library and they have been a great resource of information for our community. We make sure to schedule class series every year to have this pertinent information available to the community on a consistent basis. The presenters have been reliable, informed, and personable. It is always a pleasure working them!"

"Every company is on the lookout to enhance employee benefits in order to retain top talent. While the typical benefits of health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off remain the most valued by employees - and most expensive for employers - benefits like the onsite parenting classes offered by Utah State have aided our company in creating a greater sense of employee satisfaction and institutional loyalty while at the same time not adding increased costs to our total compensation model."

providencehall"We've hosted a few of the Healthy Relationships Utah classes at the Provo City Library, and our community really enjoys them. These classes teach great life skills that can be applied to a number of situations. The teachers are approachable, and the information they present is vetted and based on research. I would recommend these classes to anyone who wants to have better relationships."

BambooHR"Each time the "Parenting the Love and Logic Way" has been offered at BambooHR, the spots have filled within the first 48 hours of registration opening. Following the completion of each course, we have sent out a survey to get our employees' feedback on their experience. The results have been impressive - 100% would recommend it to others and 100% agree that it was worth the investment of their time. Here are a couple takeaways that some of our employees shared from the class:

    • "The skill of handing the problem back to the child was very eye-opening for me. I tend to take others' problems on me and that does not help the child (or anyone) learn to be responsible."
    • "My husband and I loved learning how to take the emotion out of discipline, and being able to parent from a place of understanding."

We have loved the class from an administrative standpoint as well. Not only is the coordination simple and the class free to participate in, but it gives our employees a meaningful opportunity to grow in areas outside of the work realm. By offering this course, it has also given us an opportunity as a company to communicate that we care about our employees and their families."

HuntElectric"Healthy Relationships Utah provided their Love & Logic and Couple LINKS seminars to our employees. Heather Mccall our facilitator was amazing at presenting all the wonderful skills both had to offer. Our employees really learned some useful tools that they could apply in their daily life to help benefit themselves and their families. It’s our goal to make sure our employees not only succeed professionally but personally as well. As we all know if our personal life is stressful, our work life will struggle as well and vice versa. We are so pleased with the partnership we have with USU’s Healthy Relationships and look forward to them continually providing our employees with the amazing things they have to offer."

SLClibrary"As a librarian responsible for creating adult programs I have been very impressed by the quality of the USU healthy relationship courses. The variety of the content, structure of the programs, and engaging instructors makes these classes an enjoyable and useful experience for our community members. The USU extension office is easy to work with, reliable, and you are always guaranteed an audience with their required registration. Our patrons have expressed their desire for more healthy relationship courses and we intend on continuing to offer these programs."

SLClibrary"I would like to express my appreciation to Utah State University for the support they have repeatedly given to The Active duty military, Department of Army Civilians and the families that live on Dugway Proving Ground. We are at a remote location where a lot of services do not exist. The willingness of Utah State University to conduct the Fathering with Love and Logic course has helped better our families and boost the morale at our location. Thank you for your support and I look forward to continue working with you and your great organization."
